2022 is Promising to be a Year of Intense Action and Expansion

Today Verusen announced its Series B Funding of $25 Million and we welcomed a new investor, Scale Venture Partners as an addition to our Board and team. The news comes on the heels of our Series A and the event marks an exciting time in our history (to say the least).

In just one year, we have tripled our customer base, achieving 10X growth. We have established new headquarters in Atlanta’s Tech Square, and our wonderful offices in #SupplyChainCity give us the location and space to move faster than ever before.

People build great business…I am most proud of our good humans and culture which we’ve doubled our employee headcount and made many key senior executive hires, strengthening our product development/engineering, sales and marketing teams.  As a result of our growth, we have gained exposure to new customers, expanded our global partnerships, and increased our media visibility, across many of the magazines that follow the Supply Chain industry and cover the local Atlanta business community.

The past year saw us achieve many milestones, earning us several important industry accolades, and our Series B funding sets up 2022 as a year of intense action and continued expansion.

Today, Verusen is helping big customers solve big supply chain problems, and is bringing them more trust to their materials supply through our platform and intelligence. Our “North Star” remains providing our customers with Material Truth. This is a unique combination of data in and across systems with the expert human knowledge across the supply network. Trust that you have what you need, where you need it, when you need it for the perfect balance of capital and risk. It is this sweet spot that will continue to drive our development and expansion of Verusen where traditional systems and methods have gaps in functionality and complex user experience. Specifically, we are evolving how we solve supply chain problems and expanding from the Indirect MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) to the Direct Materials space. This is a natural and important part of our global growth strategy to deliver Material Truth for all materials, customers and suppliers.

Key Values Verusen Delivers On:

  • We make supply chain optimization simple, fast, and sustainable for all operational, procurement, and IT stakeholders across enterprises
  • Our unique focus, especially as the pandemic continues to impact supply chains, is on risk mitigation outcomes – both in time and costs.
  • The outcome is building adaptable and resilient supply networks while streamlining the customer experience. We make things easier.

By partnering with Scale Venture Partners, Glasswing Ventures, Flyover Capital, Zetta Venture Partners, Forte Ventures, BMW iVentures, we are expanding our offering to apply our technology and experience to direct materials in both the process and discrete manufacturing segments.

We are excited and energized by our progress and are looking forward to another great year as we continue to solve the complex issues our customers face.
